Sinful · Adult lifestyle
I built Sinful's entire Amazon presence from the inside as an employee of the company. The results here were created internally, with direct access to data, systems and decisions from day one.
Sinful has strong products, a well-known brand and a loyal customer base in the Nordics. On Amazon they had neither revenue nor visibility. Amazon is where a large share of European consumers start when they look for a product, so a Nordic market leader was invisible to that part of the market. That was the job.
The work
I started with the products that had the best chances. Each product got its own keyword strategy based on volume and competition. In parallel I improved the listings themselves: copy, images and structure. That lifted the conversion rate by 25 percent. On Amazon that matters a lot, because anything that sells better also ranks better.
I also set up a better inventory system, forecasting demand more accurately and timing shipments so the products almost never ran out of stock. Run out, and you lose your ranking, which is slow to rebuild.
Outcome
Sinful went from no Amazon revenue to over seven figures in monthly revenue. Several products reached the top 3 on high-volume search terms, the conversion rate rose 25 percent, and stockouts fell by more than 80 percent. The three are directly connected: better listings drive more sales, more sales drive better ranking, and solid inventory management keeps that ranking from slipping away.
