And I am the person behind Black Mango. Black Mango is a one-man shop where it is only me.
The good part? My collaborations with clients get stronger and more personal. You are always certain that I am the one doing the work. Everything from our meetings to keyword analysis and following up on the data.
I have personally sold on Amazon for more than 7 years, and alongside that I have helped several companies grow their sales and their bottom line through marketplaces. More on that further down.
2019
In 2019 I made my first sale on Amazon. A PlayStation game.
I drove around southern Jutland in my Peugeot 206, working my way through everything from electronics shops to charity shops looking for things with a margin in them. Bought it, took it home. Stopped by the hardware store for moving boxes and packing tape.
Home to my childhood bedroom to pack it all to Amazon standard. Down to the post office to drop the parcel off. That was most days of my gap year.
It is still the same platform I work on. Just with a bigger catalogue and other people's brands.

Why
I have always wanted to be my own boss, and Amazon has been my big e-commerce passion since secondary school.
I love working with people who care about what they do. And who cares more than business owners and other marketplace specialists?
So I started Black Mango. To help with what I am good at, alongside people who give me energy.
The platform
Amazon has built a machine that can take a business from 0 to 100 in very little time. And at the same time it is so complex and so nerdy that there is always something to optimise and adjust in the strategy.
I also spend a lot of time on AI and on working it into the Amazon strategies I build. It is the part of the craft that is moving fastest right now.
Working together
If the chemistry isn't there, the collaboration won't be good either.
A cosmetics company once approached me about launching on Amazon. The whole conversation was about the price right now. On Amazon the payoff sits in the long game, and we were fundamentally at odds about that. So we were not a match.
I only take on brands where I can see there is something to gain. It is the only way I can give each brand real time.
Outside work
For the first time. So a good part of my time off now goes on baby carriers, dunes and water up to the knees.
It has also made me far more aware of how many clients I can realistically do a proper job for.

Background
I hold a bachelor's degree in e-commerce and have sold on Amazon myself since 2019. I know the platform from the seller's side, and I know what moves sales.
Before Black Mango I was a marketplace specialist at Sinful, one of Scandinavia's largest e-commerce companies, where I built the Amazon business from zero. I worked hands-on across the whole account: listings, SEO, PPC and FBA logistics, on a catalogue that went from zero to over seven figures in monthly revenue.
Black Mango ApS is registered in Aarhus and was founded in 2024. I go straight into Seller Central with the permissions you give me, and report on TACoS, organic ranking and margin.
Write to me and I will come back with a concrete assessment of where there is something to gain. I am the one who answers.
